How to connect Domain Controller with SharePoint Server in Hyper-V Virtual Machines? Or How Domain Controller communicate with SharePoint Server.
Hi Folks,
Today I will let you know that how to connect DB, DC, and SharePoint server using Hyper-V.
I have installed Hyper-V in Windows 10. I have added Three virtual machines as:-
1. Domain Controller: DC
2. SharePoint Server: SP2013
3. Database: DB2013
Here is my Hyper-v Looks like:-
Virtual Switch Adopter :-
I have created Private Virtual Switch and opted for Database Vm. Same I have done for SP2013 and DC Vm:-
Below is the IP setting for DC Machine:-
Here CONTOSO.com is my Domain name.
Ethernet2 is the adopter.
Click on change adopter setting and see:-
Here is IP setting for DC machine:-
IP setting for SP Machine:-
IP Setting for Database Machine:-
DNS Screenshot which is in DC:-
After this network hos-posh I am able to access C Drive of DC machine from Database server:-
This is how VMs are communicating with each other.
I hope this helped.
Happy SharePointing...!! 😀
